A wholesome moment unfolded at Bahrain Teachers College when a father and son unexpectedly became classmates! Mr. Abdulilah Ali Imran, a teacher and acting assistant principal at Samaheej Primary Intermediate Boys School, decided to continue his educational journey by enrolling in the Higher Diploma in School Leadership program. Around the same time, his son, Ali Abdulilah Imran, also joined the college to pursue his Bachelor of Science degree without realizing they’d end up studying under the same roof. The coincidence quickly became a heartwarming story within the college community, showing that learning truly has no age limit. Both father and son now share the unique experience of attending the same institution, each pursuing different goals but united by their passion for education. During the World Teachers’ Day ceremony, Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma, Minister of Education, highlighted their story, saying it beautifully represents the spirit of lifelong learning where both the young and old come together in the pursuit of knowledge.
