Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma, Minister of Education, visited Salmaniya Medical Complex to check on students from Sitra who were injured during the recent attacks that targeted residential areas and civilian facilities. The visit was also attended by Dr. Jalila bint Al Sayed Jawad Hassan, Minister of Health. During the visit, Dr. Juma inquired about the students’ health and wellbeing, met with their parents and family members, and expressed his sincere wishes for their swift recovery.
Dr. Juma highlighted that the vision of HM King Hamad and the directives of HRH Prince Salman place strong emphasis on protecting students and ensuring the continuity of their education. He noted that the Ministry of Education continues to coordinate closely with relevant authorities to maintain a safe and supportive learning environment for all students.
The minister also expressed his appreciation to the medical and nursing teams at Salmaniya Medical Complex for their dedication and professionalism in providing care for the injured students and thanked the educational and administrative staff at the schools attended by the injured students for their ongoing support. He acknowledged their efforts in staying in close contact with the students and their families, helping them cope with the impact of the attacks, reorganising their academic schedules, and ensuring they receive the necessary academic assistance so their studies and progress continue without interruption.
