His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, attended the national football team’s match against the United Arab Emirates (UAE) team. The match was yesterday at Bahrain National Stadium and lots of fans from Bahrain and the UAE were there!
It was a crucial game, part of the qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup and 2027 Asian Cup. Unfortunately, our Bahraini team didn’t come out on top this time, with the UAE winning 2-0. But hey, HH Shaikh Khalid congratulated the Emirati team on their victory. He even wished them luck for the rest of the qualifiers to secure their spot in the 2026 World Cup. Our national team might have lost, but HH Shaikh Khalid believes they have what it takes to bounce back and make up for it. He was also super happy about the support from Bahraini fans and gave a shoutout to the media for their role in covering the match. Kudos to the Bahraini Football Association for their efforts in organizing the game.
