HH SH Nasser Meets with the President of the International Olympic Committee in Switzerland

HH Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa recently met with Thomas Bach, President of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), during an official visit to Switzerland. The meeting focused on advancing Bahrain’s sports achievements and strengthening its global presence in the Olympic movement.

The meeting, which also included HH Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Vice President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, focused on the continued progress of Bahrain’s sports sector.

Sheikh Nasser highlighted Bahrain’s dedication to enhancing its role in global sports and the Olympic movement. This commitment aligns with the vision of HM King Hamad, focusing on building a strong sports culture in Bahrain. Sheikh Nasser also praised the government’s efforts, led by The Crown Prince and Prime Minister Salman bin Hamad, to prioritize sports development. Their support has helped Bahrain gain international recognition and success in global competitions.
