With more and more airports and airlines opening up globally, people have to think about their safety during travel. This is why Gulf Insurance Group (GIG) announced yesterday that all travellers insured with the company will be covered if diagnosed with COVID-19.
The insurance is to cover costs of up to BHD 13.2K which includes medical treatment and hospitalization. GIG will also cover up home-quarantine costs up to two weeks coming to BHD 40 a day.
What a great and responsible initiative on the insurance company’s part to handle travelers’ safety!
