Praised for all the right reasons!
Bahrain never ceases to amaze us and this time around, we’ve been recognized and praised by none other than World Health Organization! Bahrain’s early response and prompt measures have been documented in a WHO case study! The case study looks at how Bahrain managed to overcome challenges through readiness and early response which includes forming a national task force in February 2020 — three weeks before the first case was reported!
Formation of a ‘war room’ along with a multilingual awareness campaign and volunteers registering to help taskforce were also part of the study! The case study was launched during a press conference by Bahrain’s Health Minister Dr. Jaleela Hasan and Dr. Ahmed Al Mandhari.
