The Food is Culture Festival is Coming to an End at the Pearling Path This Saturday

AKA, one of the most iconic sites in Bahrain

Food is culture is back for its fifth and final week, and the run this year has been spectacular with events hosted all over Bahrain’s heritage sites. This week’s location? The Pearling Path – one of the most iconic sites in Muharraq, so it’s an event not to be missed.

The event has been going on for the past 5 weeks, with Saturday being the final show of the year! The sixth edition of the annual event had us exploring the cultural side of our island, with the events being hosted at Bahrain National Museum, Al Jasra Handicrafts Centre and the Archaeologies of Green Pavilion. The festival will culminate at the Pearling Path Visitor Centre in Muharraq, starting at 6pm this Saturday!

The final show of the festival brings together artist Ghada Khunji and Chef Irvin Morales from Cantina Kahlo – once again, bringing together food, art and architecture! The festival, organized by the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities, has never been anything short of impressive, fun and full of good food. Sad to see it end, but we can’t wait for its comeback next year!

Catch us there, 6pm sharp!
