This University In Bahrain Is Among The First To Welcome Back Students On Campus In September

Class Is In Session! Students will be happy to know the days of Zoom classes will soon be in the past, as some schools plan to re-open in September.

American University of Bahrain (AUBH) is one of them, as it recently announced they are welcoming students back on campus in September 2020!

Get ready for your first day back on September 13!

The re-opening strategy is in compliance with guidelines set by the Ministry of Health, Higher Education Council, and National Taskforce for Combating the Coronavirus in Bahrain and has set lots of precautionary measures to ensure everyone’s safety.

Here is what you need to know about the precautionary measures on campus

Isolation rooms will be present for anyone showing symptoms of COVID-19

This decisions is part of the containment strategy by AUBH, the NHRA-accredited on-campus clinic, and Bahrain Specialist Hospital

Isolation facilities are provided to new faculty and incoming students

AUBH has partnered up with Le Meridien Hotel City Centre to provide a safe space for anyone on campus experiencing symptoms of COVID-19.

There will be temperature checks, increased sanitation and everyone required to wear a mask

The university is taking the highest measures to make sure the campus remains a safe academic zone for all.

For those unable to attend or prefer to continue studies from a distance, classes can be attended in real-time online as classes will be streamed

You will still be able to attend classes virtually through in-class camera recording systems.

Adaptive classroom seating and a reduced number of students per classroom will maintain the practice of social distancing

The university’s huge campus will be able to keep students and staff at a safe distance from one another.
