Reminiscing the old days
We came across some images of the time when singing superstar Shirley Bassey travelled to Bahrain in the 1970s on Concorde to promote the soon to be launched British Airways Concorde London-Bahrain service. From Bahrain International Airport, she was collected by a Rolls-Royce at the time.
She performed in Sakhir Palace and sang at Adhari Pool and went back to London to open another show. Her visit was documented by BBC for promotional purposes of the aircraft.

صادفنا بعض الصور لسفر النجمة المغنية شيرلي باسي إلى البحرين في السبعينيات على متن طائرة كونكورد للترويج لخدمة كونكورد الخطوط الجوية البريطانية التي كان سيتم إطلاقها قريبًا. من مطار البحرين الدولي، اختارتها رولز رويس في ذلك الوقت. غنت في قصر الصخير وغنت في برجة عذاري وعادت إلى لندن لافتتاح عرض آخر. تم توثيق زيارتها من قبل بي بي سي لأغراض ترويجية للطائرة.
