The Al Dana Drama Award ceremony kicked off last night at the Bahrain National Theater with HH Sh Khalid leading the celebrations. The award show was a part of the 16th Gulf Radio and Television Festival, highlighting the top talent in the Gulf Entertainment Industry.
The Al Dana Drama Award launched by the Ministry of Information and Gulf Radio aims to recognize and inspire amazing radio and TV talents across the GCC.
The awards had 10 categories, with 3 nominees in each one. The nominees have been shortlisted from a pool of over 70 television series. With cash prizes totaling $110,000, the Al Dana Drama Award was presented across nine exciting categories & here are the winners:
Best Arabic Series – The Assassins
Best Social Series – Khuyot Al Maazeeb
Best Actor in a Leading Role – Abdulmohsen Al Nemer
Best Actress in a Leading Role – Shujoon Al Hajri
Best Rising Actor – Naif Al Bahar
Best Rising Actress – Reem Hamdan
Best Soundtrack – Selim Arjoun
Best Director & Director – Abdulaziz Alshlahei & Manaf Abdal
Dana Appreciation Award – Saad Al Faraj
