Spotlight!
While most teenagers are focused on school assignments and exams, one 17-year-old student in Bahrain is already making his mark in the startup world. Meet Sagar Asnani, the young founder behind Thrust, a new all-in-one sports platform designed to make it easier for athletes, coaches and sports enthusiasts to connect in one place. The app aims to simplify the local sports experience by bringing together everything users need, from discovering sports events and booking training sessions to connecting with coaches and finding nearby sports facilities.
At just 17, Sagar has spent two years building Thrust, a 100% student-led sports startup born from a simple idea he had at 15! Thrust aims to help Bahrain’s players, coaches, and venues connect and thrive! From matching athletes with others at their skill level to filling empty court slots and helping independent coaches grow their client base, Thrust is quietly working toward a healthier, more active Bahrain.
As the app begins its journey, its young founder hopes Thrust will grow into the go-to platform for athletes of all ages, helping users discover new opportunities, build connections, and stay active.
