A super ambitious Bahraini skater, Zeyad Jirjawi, was nominated to enter the 2020 Asian Skateboarding Awards, and his entry video is simply inspiring. 5 skaters from each country on the list were picked, and Zeyad was one of Bahrain’s nominees!!
Zeyad has been skating for over 15 years, and he even started giving lessons and teaching some skating classes with a group of his skater friends, through the Bahrain Skate School – an entire skateboarding community in Bahrain!
We talked to Zeyad about it, and he said:
I agreed to enter not just to win, I honestly wanted Bahrain’s skaters to be in the picture and was hoping others would be inspired.
