New year comes with new trends!
2020 is just a few days away and we’re curious what the fashion trends are going to be.
Here are some predictions according to top fashion designers and enthusiasts from the industry! Hint; lots of leather.
Neon
We’ll be seeing a lot of neon colors this winter, brightening up the traditional winter wardrobe. This bold shade was popping up a lot during 2019 fashion weeks and is a nostalgic look revived from the 80s.
Buttery, Colorful Leather
Leather (including faux and vegan leather) in practically any item of clothing will be the ultra fashion statement in 2020! Buttery, colorful leather has been found in every fashion week in 2019 to showcase upcoming collections. Vegan leather is being opted for animal leather successfully too.
Tangerine
Bright orange colors like tangerine have made a debut on the runway and in street style for the Spring and Autumn season! You’ll see a lot of this sunny color in 2020 and it’ll definitely make you feel like you’re on vacation. Buttercup orange is also trending in 2020, which is a bit more subtle and pastel in color but equally statement worthy.
Rope Belts
Rope belts were being fashioned a lot by designers on the runway and are going to be a look for the Spring/Summer season! Expect to see them matched with dresses and pants on your Instagram feed during the warmer days of 2020.
Bucket Hats
Bucket hats aren’t new but they’re definitely not going anywhere anytime soon either! They are a great statement piece and can be matched with practically anything you’re wearing. Expect to see soft bucket hats in the new year during any season.
Shoes worn over pants
It’s the new shoe trend you’ll see a lot of! The trend was first spotted at Copenhagen Fashion Week spring/summer 2020 and fashioned by the likes of Hailey Baldwin and bloggers/influencers this year. Get yourself a pair of strappy shoes and wear them on top of some oversized trousers. It’s fashion, baby!
Chunky Boots With Feminine Dresses
This grungey look is not going anywhere either and will be trending in 2020. Pair up a cute floral or flowy dress with a pair of chunky boots for a trendsetter look!
Maxi Leather Coats
Look elegant and chic in a maxi leather coat in 2020 as this is a trend that is most likely staying around for a bit! This bold 90s look is being revived and can be found in faux and vegan leather too.
