Bahrain has one of the lowest electricity consumption rates in the GCC. It’s ranked 63rd globally for electricity use while Saudi Arabia ranks first in the Gulf and 11th globally. China is the biggest user of electricity globally.
Other Gulf countries like the UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, and Oman also use varying amounts of electricity. Countries with a lot of people and higher incomes, like the US and India, use the most electricity.
Bahrain’s lower electricity use shows its efforts to be efficient and eco-friendly. It’s a step towards a cleaner environment for everyone.
Cleaner Bahrain!
