Bahraini director Mohammed AlFahad has released Bahrain’s first action film, Chasing Dragons: Blades of Faith. The 11 minute short will have its public premiere at Bahrain Comic Con on May 2 and 3. Set in a dystopian world, it follows two heroes battling masked enemies on a mission to save the world. The film blends action, sci-fi, and psychological thriller elements, featuring martial arts inspired by Bruce Lee’s Jeet Kune Do. Mohammed, who launched Hollyoud Studios in 2020, hopes to boost local talent and bring Bahraini action films to global audiences.
