Bahrain’s Government Hospitals have received the Holistic Role Model recognition from the Arab Hospitals Federation (AHF) as part of the seventh cycle of the Gold Initiative Certificate. The award recognises the hospitals’ high standards in healthcare, patient safety, innovation, and sustainability. The recognition comes after the Government Hospitals took part in six key areas of the initiative, including healthcare quality, patient safety, governance, risk management, innovation, sustainability, and developing the work environment. It is one of the highest awards presented by the Arab Hospitals Federation.
Dr. Mariam Athbi Al Jalahma, CEO of the Government Hospitals administration, said the award reflects the hard work of healthcare professionals and the continued support for Bahrain’s healthcare sector. She added that it also highlights the Kingdom’s commitment to providing high-quality care while putting patients first. She said the recognition will encourage the hospitals to keep improving their services, follow international best practices, and continue providing better care for patients.
The award highlights Bahrain’s continued efforts to improve healthcare services and patient care.
