Bahrain’s Ministry of Labour Steps in to Support Laid-off Staff After Delivery Company Closes

A Bahrain delivery company abruptly closed its doors, leaving laid-off employees wondering what’s next. But the Labour Ministry is stepping up to help.

They’re investigating the closure and, more importantly, helping affected workers find new jobs. The company claims to be shifting operations elsewhere, but that’s little comfort to those who lost their jobs.

The good news? Workers will receive compensation beyond legal requirements and unemployment benefits for up to nine months. The Labour Ministry is even connecting them with companies looking for their skills.

Here’s hoping these workers are back on their feet in no time!
