His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa had a meeting at Safriya Palace with a group of officials, including His Highness Shaikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, and HM’s advisors. They discussed various local issues and topics.
During the meeting, the King appreciated the initiatives taken by the authorities to ensure the success of Ashura Commemoration, which is an important event in Bahrain’s society. He praised the efforts of the Ministry of the Interior and the heads of Maatams for their national responsibility and awareness in ensuring the smooth practice of the rituals.
The King emphasized the importance of using accurate and reliable resources when it comes to Bahrain’s history and people. He pointed out that some publications with false information cannot be trusted as historical references.
In other news, the King also received Artist Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Ameen Al Khaja, who presented his paintings. His Majesty expressed his appreciation for Al Khaja’s efforts in preparing the distinguished art pieces and wished him further success in his career. He also expressed his pride in Bahraini artists and their contributions to Bahrain’s culture and civilization.
