HRH Prince Salman Inaugurated the Second Phase of the Avenues Bahrain Expansion

Under the patronage of HRH Prince Salman Bahrain officially inaugurated the second phase of The Avenues Bahrain expansion. During the ceremony, His Royal Highness highlighted that Bahrain’s growing list of development projects across all sectors reflects the Kingdom’s ongoing success and progress, led by HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. He emphasized Bahrain’s commitment to advancing infrastructure, attracting investments, and strengthening its position as a top destination for business and tourism. The Crown Prince also toured the new expansion, which beautifully blends modern design with Bahraini identity. He praised the efforts behind the project, calling it a key addition to Bahrain’s development journey and a boost to the national economy.

HRH noted that Bahrain’s major development projects mirror the Kingdom’s vision for sustainable economic growth and the creation of more promising opportunities for its citizens. He reaffirmed that these achievements reflect strong collaboration with the private sector a vital partner in building an economy driven by innovation and diversity. The second phase of The Avenues Bahrain marks a big milestone in the Kingdom’s retail and leisure scene. The expansion adds 40,000 sqm of new leasing space, bringing the total to 80,000 sqm. It now features 244 retail units, new entertainment zones including an ice rink, a modern supermarket, and underground parking for around 1,300 vehicles.

The western expansion introduces new areas like The Forum, Grand Plaza, Electra, and The Souk, offering visitors a vibrant and modern shopping experience. Plus, the seaside promenade has been extended by 600 meters, now totaling 1.3 km, making The Avenues Bahrain the largest waterfront shopping and entertainment destination in the Kingdom.
