Beyon Group recently announced an exciting plan to create a “Digital City” in Hamala, covering an expansive 380,000 square meters. This initiative was launched during the Gateway Gulf Forum 2024 at the Four Seasons Bahrain. Beyon signed an agreement with Edamah, the real estate arm of Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company, which will oversee the project’s development. Scheduled to start construction in 2025, the Digital City will support Bahrain’s Vision 2030 and national goals for digital transformation, setting new standards for smart city developments.
The project will integrate advanced technology, sustainable facilities, and cutting-edge connectivity. It’s envisioned as a modern urban hub that combines various types of establishments and real estate, offering a highly connected and innovative environment for residents, businesses, and visitors alike. Andrew Kvalseth, Beyon’s CEO, emphasized that the project aligns with principles of modern lifestyle, sustainability, and inclusivity central to Bahrain’s 2030 vision. Beyon aims to make this development a regional example of modern, connected living, enhancing Bahrain’s role as a digitally advanced nation and creating attractive investment opportunities for sustainable growth.
