There’s a Beach Cleanup Campaign Happening on Nov 8 and You Can Now Register to Volunteer

The Bahrain Science Center for SDGs, together with the Embassy of Japan in Bahrain, is hosting a special event that combines Japanese culture, anime and care for the environment. The event starts on November 6 with a screening of the anime Children of the Sea at Cineco Seef 2, Hall 6, at 5 PM. The movie, for ages 15 and above, tells a beautiful story about the ocean and the connection between people and nature. Then, on November 8, everyone is invited to join a Beach Cleanup at Malkiya Beach at 9 am. People of all ages can take part and help keep Bahrain’s beaches clean and healthy.

This event is a great way to learn about Japanese culture, enjoy an inspiring film, and take real action to protect our planet. You can Apply here to register.
