Get ready, Bahrain – the island is gearing up for the return of it’s Almond Festival!
This exciting event, organized by the Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture Ministry, will take place on July 5th till 7th at the Budaiya Botanical Garden. The festival aims to highlight the agricultural and cultural value of the popular almond tree and nut and promote a larger industry on the island.
The Almond Festival is a platform to support Bahraini farmers in marketing their products and finding areas where innovation and economic opportunities are available. The Ministry of Agriculture and Marine Resources is committed to preserving the almond as one of Bahrain’s genetic resources.
