First time in history!
Here’s another breakthrough in medical science, a new drug called Dostarlimab has shown remarkable results in colorectal cancer patients. Though it was tested on a small group of people but is a major breakthrough in the field of medicine. According to New York Times, 18 patients took a drug called Dostarlimab for around six months, and in the end, every one of them saw the tumors disappear, a 100% success rate!
The cancer was undetectable by physical exam; endoscopy; positron emission tomography or PET scans or MRI scans. Vanished, to say the least!
Dr. Luis A. Diaz Jr. of New York’s Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center said this was ‘the first time this has happened in the history of cancer’. Dr. Diaz and a team of researchers published a paper on their findings in the New England Journal of Medicine, describing their phenomenal results.
