South Korea Gives BD 180 Allowance to Reclusive Youths to Help Them Go Out and Socialize More

Thoughtful and heartwarming!

South Korea is offering young people aged 9-24 who tend to stay at home a new program that provides a monthly allowance of BD 180, plus education, job, and health support! It also includes an allowance for cultural experiences for teenagers. The goal is to help those experiencing extreme social withdrawal to leave their homes and engage in school, university, work, or cultural activities!

The condition is known as “hikikomori”, a Japanese term that roughly translates to, “to pull back”. The South Korean government wants to try to make it easier for young people with social withdrawal to leave the house to go to school, university, or work.

Here for such initiatives!
