Well-deserved!
Congratulations to the students of ASB for participating & winning several medals at the World Scholar’s Cup which took place at Yale University in New Haven!
Eleven students along with Coach Caroline Oversier and chaperone, Mr. Steve Bodnar, had a life-changing trip and represented Bahraini pride, and we are beyond proud of them. The teams performed well in the program activities and visited different cultural and historical places as part of the adventure!

What is the World Scholar’s Cup?
The World Scholar’s Cup is a global inter-school competition held annually in countries around the world. It is a chance for students to put their knowledge to the test and compete with their peers from over 65 countries. Beyond being a fun way to learn and develop skills like teamwork, communication, and strategic thinking, The World Scholar’s Cup creates a platform for meaningful cross-cultural interaction between local schools, eventually leading to positive changes in the community at large.
Students at ASB took part in the Scholar’s Scavenge, Scholar’s Challenge, Collaborative Writing, Team Debate and won several gold and silver medals along with multiple trophies! They attended the Scholar’s Bowl, Debate Showcase, Cultural Evening at Yale and took a delightful tour around Boston. They also had the chance to visit the Harvard and MIT Campuses!
We’re super proud of their achievements!
