Update: Saudi Arabia Lifts All Covid-19 Restrictions for Hajj This Year

Saudi Arabia will lift Covid-19 restrictions for Hajj this year allowing the pre-pandemic pilgrim numbers to be back again! During the pandemic, the number of pilgrims was limited by age restrictions and vaccine requirements. Now, the number of pilgrims allowed is back to how they were before the pandemic & age restrictions have been lifted, as announced by the Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Tawfiq Al Rabiah.

In 2022, access was limited to pilgrims aged 18 to 65 who have been fully vaccinated or immunized against the coronavirus and did not suffer from chronic diseases. In 2020, numbers were limited to just 1,000 pilgrims from inside the kingdom. This year, Hajj will be back to the pre-pandemic number!
