Art lovers, it’s time to get your creative juices flowing! The Yusuf Bin Ahmed Kanoo Awards is back with a new fine art competition in Bahrain, and it’s open to all aspiring artists between the ages of 18-30! Not just that, you get the chance to win $10,000 if you get 1st place!

Here’s what you need to know
Theme:
The Bahraini woman has played a distinguished role in building and developing Bahraini society. She is the educator, the worker, and the teacher. Her role has grown in recent years, through her noticeable presence in all aspects of life and her insistence on standing by and supporting her husband, which is evidence of her pivotal role in the process of social change. Therefore, the theme of “Bahraini Women” is the main subject for the Fine Arts competition (painting, sculpture, and pottery) for the Yusuf bin Ahmed Kanoo Award in its eleventh edition.
Requirements:
- Must be Bahraini
- Must be between 18-30 years old
- The Submission must be a creative original piece & not copied
- Submission must not exceed 120cm
- The Submission must be ready for display
- Submission should not have been submitted previously to other art contests
- Participants should attach an updated CV and photo
- Submissions will be evaluated through an independent committee
The top three winners will receive cash prizes of
- First place $10,000
- Second place $7,000
- Third place $5,000
