Summer is almost here, as the sun has been trying to tell us for the past few days… Luckily, we can beat the heat while the weather is still pleasant later at night, and there are a bunch of spots you can check out this weekend! Scroll for some exclusive events that you need to know about:

City Centre’s Rooftop Food Festival

City Centre launched a rooftop food festival for the first time, featuring an outdoor cinema, too!! Food from the best vendors and an open-air cinema, at last. This’ll be happening every day, from 4pm onwards, on the car park level 6!

Fishing with Maximize

Maximize has been putting on some of the best workshops and experiences, including this Fishing 101 class! It looks like summer is basically here at this point, so don’t forget your sunglasses (and SPF).

This pop-up in Adliya is back this weekend

Glitch is back on this weekend, in all its red glory. It’s been running for a few weeks now, and let’s just say we checked it out two Saturdays ago and it’s a MUST see.

You can book one of Kashta Tours’ many activities

You can cycle, tour Muharraq, go on a Full Moon watersports event or many other activities! Check out their website HERE to explore several creative options.

Jump straight into summer at Jumeirah

A whole lot of watersport options at Jumeirah Royal Saray – you can go jet skiing, flyboarding or jet packing, and it’s clearly all about bringing out the adventurer in you!!

Croffles at Red Croissant Bakery & Cafe

Red Croissant Bakery not only just opened up its first cafe in Juffair Square, but it even added a delicious item to the menu – The Croffle! A mix between a croissant and a waffle, and it comes in 5 different flavors. We’ve tried it, and let’s just say we’re going back ASAP.

Bombo Shawarma

Our fave local chef, Curiously Hungry has partnered up with Bombo Shawarma, and they’re bringing us: The Curious Shawarma – chicken or beef! You can actually even get the combo, chicken AND beef. Make sure you try it out this weekend!!

BONUS: Roast’s pop-up at Busaiteen

If you’ve been watching our stories, you probably saw that we visited Roast’s brand new pop-up last weekend and we gotta say, it felt like a work of art. They’ve got an actual Roast-themed art installation set up, which is definitely one for the photos!! Oh, and you’ll have to try the Brûlée, exclusive to the pop-up location and a must-try!

WHERE: Alsayah Square, Busaiteen

An art gallery, which just began last night, will be going on this weekend at Al Aali Mall!! There’s a line-up of over 30 local artists’ works displayed at the gallery, and it’ll be up & running daily from 9am to 9pm!

WHERE: Al Aali Mall, First Floor

Keep your masks on & have fun!!
