A new pet park with a shelter to accommodate over 5000 stray dogs is coming to Askar soon! Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture Minister Wael bin Nasser Al Mubarak unveiled the implementation of a pet park in Askar to house stray dogs and we think this is a brilliant step!
The area has been allocated and work is currently underway on planning the necessary budget for the project. The park will be on an area of 50,000 meters square and will include walkways, and play areas with chairs.
Stray dogs from across Bahrain will be housed in the park after being surgically sterilized.
