Bahrain is actively engaged in diplomatic efforts with GCC countries to secure visa exemption for Bahraini citizens when traveling to European Union countries (Schengen area) revealed by Ambassador Ali Jassim Al-Aradi. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is working diligently to streamline transportation and travel procedures for Bahraini citizens.
Bahrain has already taken positive steps in this regard, including the introduction of electronic passports to enhance the travel experience, streamline airport processes, and elevate the global standing of Bahraini passports.
