Check this! Sh Rashid Al Khalifa, a Bahraini artist renowned for his captivating impressionist artworks depicting the landscapes of his homeland, has made a significant mark in the art world. Sh Rashid is all about supporting the arts in Bahrain! He was honored as the honorary president of the Bahrain Arts Society upon its establishment in 1983. Currently, he holds the esteemed position of chairman of the National Council for Arts in Bahrain.
At the upcoming art exhibition, #ForeverisNowIII, Sh Rashid will be showcasing his latest masterpiece titled “Reality is Timeless.” This thought-provoking piece draws inspiration from ancient mythology, exploring the concepts of time and discovery. The artwork consists of fragments of a labyrinth, emerging from the ground at different angles. Each fragment showcases unique motifs derived from the diagram of the Egyptian labyrinth as presented by the 17th-century scholar Anthanasius Kircher in his book “Turris Babel” (1679).
This captivating artistry of Sh Rashid Al Khalifa will be held from 26th October to 18th November at the mesmerizing Pyramids of Giza.
