Leading the way in Esports
Ebrahim Abbas Al Mubarak and Hassan Khalil, two Bahraini gamers have made quite a splash at the region’s first-ever Esports tournament. The Toyota Gazoo Racing MENA Digital Cup 2021, held in Jordan over the last weekend pit 22 “drivers” from 10 countries in a highspeed race. This will be the first FIA Authorised Esports tournament in the region.
The pair came in 9th and 10th, respectively in the final race of the tournament. Out of a total of 22 racers, this is quite the achievement for their first tournament. They each excelled in the Country Challenge and Elimination Challenge on day one, which set the stage for the main event the following day, the MENA Cup Showdown.

ثنائي بحريني يضع بصمته في أول بطولة إقليمية للرياضات الإلكترونية
إبراهيم عباس المبارك وحسن خليل، لاعبان بحرينيان، حققا شهرة كبيرة في أول بطولة للرياضات الإلكترونية في المنطقة. كأس Toyota Gazoo Racing MENA Digital Cup 2021، التي أقيمت في الأردن خلال عطلة نهاية الأسبوع الماضي، شارك فيها 22 “سائقاً” من 10 دول في سباق عالي السرعة. ستكون هذه أول بطولة للرياضات الإلكترونية معتمدة من الاتحاد الدولي للسيارات في المنطقة.
حصل الثنائي على المركزين التاسع والعاشر على التوالي في السباق النهائي للبطولة. من إجمالي 22 متسابقًا، يعد هذا إنجازًا كبيرًا بالنسبة لبطولتهم الأولى. برع كل منهم في تحدي الدولة وتحدي التصفيات في اليوم الأول، والذي مهد الطريق للحدث الرئيسي في اليوم التالي، ألا وهو مواجهة كأس الشرق الأوسط وشمال إفريقيا.
