Bahraini Martial artist Ali Monfaradi has bagged his fourth Gold Medal at the Asian Jiu-Jitsu Championship. Monfaradi is hot on the heels of three golds in Croatia, and he shows no signs of slowing down. The 27-year-old fought 5 times in Abu Dhabi, 3 of which ended in submission. He won the other two on points.
The Supreme Council for Youth and Sports chairman Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa took to social media to congratulate Monfaradi, the national team player, on his achievement.
Monfaradi, who is the instructor and owner of Elements Jiu-Jitsu Academy in Tubli, celebrated with his father and uncle. Monfaradi started jiu-jitsu at age 12 and hasn’t stopped since. Once he became an adult, he went off to Brazil to train under the legendary Fabio Gurgel. And to this day, Monfaradi is the only Bahraini who can claim this honor.
He has been on a winning streak since 2012, even claiming a triple gold at the 2016 American Nationals.

البحريني علي منفردي يفوز بالميدالية الذهبية للمرة الرابعة في بطولة آسيا للجوجيتسو
حقق الفنان البحريني علي منفردي ميداليته الذهبية الرابعة في بطولة آسيا للجوجيتسو. مونفردي حاز ثلاث ميداليات ذهبية في كرواتيا، ولا يظهر أي علامة للتنازل. قاتل اللاعب البالغ من العمر 27 عامًا 5 مرات في أبو ظبي، 3 منها إنتهت بالرضوخ. فاز بالاثنين الآخرين بالنقاط.
و علق رئيس المجلس الأعلى للشباب والرياضة الشيخ ناصر بن حمد آل خليفة عبر مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي بتهنئة لمنفردي لاعب المنتخب الوطني لإنجازه في البطولة.
احتفل مونفردي، وهو مدرس ومالك أكاديمية Elements Jiu-Jitsu في توبلي، مع والده وعمه. بدأ منفردي لعب الجوجيتسو في سن 12 عامًا ولم يتوقف منذ ذلك الحين. بمجرد أن أصبح بالغًا، سافر إلى البرازيل للتدريب تحت قيادة الأسطوري فابيو جورجيل. وإلى يومنا هذا، منفردي هو البحريني الوحيد الذي حظي بهذا الشرف.
حصل على سلسلة انتصارات متتالية منذ عام 2012، حتى أنه حصل على ذهبية ثلاثية في 2016 American Nationals.
