Bahrain’s General Directorate of Anti-Corruption and Economic and Electronic Security has warned the public to be careful when buying tickets online, as fake websites and accounts may copy official posts, logos and images to trick people into making payments or sharing their bank details. The directorate advised the public to check account names and website links carefully before purchasing tickets. It also urged people to book only through authorised ticketing platforms listed on the event organiser’s official channels.
The public is reminded not to share personal or banking information or make payments through unknown links. For assistance, the public can contact the hotline on 992.
