Bahraini talents shine bright in Sharjah!
Three young and talented Bahraini skateboarders, Ahmed Haji, Saif Abdulrahman, and Faheem AlBalooshi, got the chance of a lifetime! They were chosen to showcase their skills at the International pre-qualifying event in Sharjah, UAE for the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.
Along with 750 skateboarders from 65 different countries, they took part in the week-long event to show the world what they’re made of and proudly represent their country. These fearless skaters not only left their mark but also made connections and put Bahrain on the map for the Skateboarding Olympics.
Their ambition doesn’t stop here! They have set their sights on starting a federation in Bahrain and are determined to grow the skateboarding community, intending to make it to Rome in June 2023. Who knows, maybe we’ll see them competing in the 2024 Olympics in Paris!
