Green is always a good idea!
The National Initiative for Agricultural Development (NIAD) announced the conclusion of the second phase of the national afforestation campaign “Forever Green”. Forever Green was launched by Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of His Majesty the King and President of NIAD to address climate challenges and reach zero neutrality by 2060!
The campaign completed many projects by planting more than 50,814 trees and shrubs, almost 13,589 square meters, and 10,288 linear meters! The campaign also completed 57 afforestation projects in different municipalities and cities around the Kingdom! This is something we all need to be proud of!
