Saudi Arabia continues to be the largest trade and economic partner of the Kingdom of Bahrain, maintaining this position over the past several years. Trade volume between the two countries reached nearly $1 billion by the third quarter of 2025, compared to $867 million during the same period in 2024. According to the latest quarterly report issued by the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, trade between Bahrain and GCC countries recorded a 22% increase in the third quarter of 2025 compared to the same quarter last year. Total trade rose from $1.76 billion to $2.15 billion.
Saudi Arabia ranked first in terms of trade exchange with Bahrain in Q3 2025. Trade between the two countries grew from $867 million in Q3 2024 to around $1.005 billion in Q3 2025.Saudi Arabia was also Bahrain’s largest export market, with exports valued at $779 million. Aluminum alloys topped the list of exported goods, reaching $138 million and accounting for 17.7% of total exports.
This continued growth highlights the strong and expanding economic ties between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.
