Online sellers now have two options to choose from when registering.
HRH The Crown Prince and Prime Minister Sheikh Salman Bin Hamad Al Khalifa issued a directive which allows online sellers two options to ensure better market regulation. The first option being the already established “Sijili” which requires a 178BD issuance fee and 158BD upon annual renewal.
In addition to that, “Khatwa” has just been introduced as an alternative free option. It’s made available to families that are registered with the Ministry of Labour and Social Development!
The main objective of the government is not only to regulate the market but also to ensure that consumer rights are protected!
