Success awaits
The world is moving at a fast pace be it in technological advancements or developmental initiatives. In this time and age, it is essential to stay a step ahead and our country is doing exactly that! Bahrain is the first Arab country to implement an integrated entrepreneurship curriculum to promote innovation, as per United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) official Dr. Hashim Hussein, and we’re so proud!
Dr. Hashim Hussein, the Head of UNIDO for Investment and Technology Promotion Office in Bahrain, said the organization will coordinate with League of the Arab States and Union of Arab Chamber in order to implement the strategy in other Arab countries.
He added, “Promoting a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship through education is one of the most important priorities for countries, and that is what Bahrain is keen to implement,” further saying “Fifty-three countries around the globe are now following Bahrain Model for Entrepreneurship and Innovation and the Enterprise Development and Investment Promotion Programme for its quality.”
Adding, “The success of these programs also encouraged the organization to establish business incubators in schools during next year with a focus on artificial intelligence, especially in technical and vocational schools.”
Dr. Hashim was present at the virtual closing ceremony of the 3rd edition of the initiative to foster innovation and entrepreneurship for secondary school students in order to attain Sustainable Development Goals.

أخبار رائعة: البحرين هي أول دولة عربية تطبق منهاج ريادة الأعمال
يتحرك العالم على وتيرة سريعة سواء في التطورات التكنولوجية أو المبادرات التنموية. في هذا الوقت وهذا العصر، من الضروري أن نتقدم خطوة إلى الأمام وبلدنا يفعل ذلك بالضبط! البحرين هي الدولة العربية الأولى الي تطبق منهجًا متكاملًا لريادة الأعمال لتعزيز الابتكار ، وفقًا لمسؤول منظمة الأمم المتحدة للتنمية الصناعية (اليونيدو) الدكتور هاشم حسين ، وإحنا فخورين بهالإمتياز!
وقال الدكتور هاشم حسين ، رئيس مكتب الترويج للإستثمار والتكنولوجيا في البحرين ، أن المنظمة ستنسق مع جامعة الدول العربية واتحاد الغرفة العربية من أجل تنفيذ هذه الاستراتيجية في الدول العربية الأخرى.وأضاف: “إن تعزيز ثقافة الابتكار وريادة الأعمال من خلال التعليم هو من أهم أولويات الدول ، وهذا ما تحرص البحرين على تنفيذه”. ريادة الأعمال والابتكار وبرنامج تنمية المشاريع وتشجيع الاستثمار لجودته “.
مضيفًا: “إن نجاح هذه البرامج شجع أيضًا المنظمة على إنشاء حاضنات أعمال في المدارس خلال العام المقبل مع التركيز على الذكاء الاصطناعي ، وخاصة في المدارس الفنية والمهنية”.
حضر الدكتور هاشم الحفل الختامي الافتراضي للنسخة الثالثة من مبادرة تعزيز الابتكار وريادة الأعمال لطلاب المدارس الثانوية من أجل تحقيق أهداف التنمية المستدامة.
