HRH The Crown Prince and Prime Minister Sheikh Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa held a conference with the editors-in-chief of local newspapers yesterday. Where, amongst other topics, he discussed the country’s strategic plans to combat the coronavirus. HRH assured that there are no plans to return to a complete lockdown, however things will not open up 100% yet.
HRH Sheikh Salman also reaffirmed that Bahrain is well on it’s way to make a recovery. With the capability of conducting 12,000 vaccinations and 13,000 PCR tests daily. Bahrain is currently the 5th in the world in vaccinations per capita and has one of the lowest rates of mortality worldwide.
