Bahrain Is One Of The First Countries In The World To Launch Digital Vaccination Passports

The National Medical task force for combating the Coronavirus just announced the launch at their press conference today! The ‘passport’ will be available on the BeAware app to those who have taken both doses of the vaccine, but only after the immunization period.

It will display a shield certifying that the individual is ‘Covid-19 Vaccinated’ with an official certificate and a QR code for officials to check.

Other countries like Denmark and Sweden are developing similar programs, but Bahrain beat them to the punch!

The press conference also dove into the current state of rising cases in the country, pointing out that the current rise in cases is due to the large amount of the gatherings. The task force reiterated that the vaccine is not responsible in any way for this spike!

The Ministry of Health also posted the drastic difference in recorded daily cases between November and this month.

Stay safe and stay in, guys!
