His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa inaugurated Bahrain’s newest naval ship, RBNS Khalid bin Ali! Marking the 56th anniversary of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF). Welcomed by Commander-in-Chief HE Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, the event saw esteemed figures such as His Highness General Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa and the National Security Advisor.
HRH Prince Salman highlighted the BDF’s development, thanking His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa for support. He praised the RBNS Khalid bin Ali’s role in bolstering the Royal Bahrain Naval Force, enhancing national defence capabilities.
Acknowledging the crew’s efforts, HRH commended the Royal Bahrain Naval Force’s contributions to regional security and humanitarian missions. Rear Admiral Ahmed Mohammed Al Binali presented a souvenir to HRH, who then toured the vessel, inaugurating it and familiarizing himself with its advanced features.
The event underscores Bahrain’s commitment to maritime security and defence, reflecting its dedication to safeguarding international waters and trade routes.
