A very important milestone!
Today, marks 20 years since the National Action Charter was voted in by 98.4% of Bahrain’s voters. The charter was put forward by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa in 2001.
The charter outlines the Government structure as well as “Basic Principles of Society” which include clauses like Freedom of Belief and Freedom of expression and publishing.
The National Communication Center shared a very and nostalgic video of the day. Other Ministries and Government institutions also congratulated His Majesty The King on this remarkable milestone!
