The Bahrain Authorities of Culture and Antiquities just dropped a campaign online called ‘Made In Bahrain’ on World Tourism Day yesterday, which is aimed to highlight the traditional handicrafts that make up the island’s long heritage.
From pottery, to basket weaving, and all the local crafts that make Bahrain unique, the campaign is aimed to preserve Bahrain’s culture through the island’s craftsmen
“Through the “Made in Bahrain” initiative, the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities revisits the visual and functional identity of Bahraini handmade products as a cultural expression that has stood the test of time and is reflective of national identity”.
