It’s getting super windy in Bahrain!
Hold on to your hats, folks! Bahrain just experienced the highest wind speed in its history! At a whopping 69 knots (that’s 127.8 km/h), the southern regions of the Kingdom felt the full force of mother nature.
The Durrat Al Bahrain Automated Station recorded the wind speed at dawn today, beating the previous record of 62 knots (114.8 km/h) back in November 2000 AD. While it might have been a little frightening for some, it’s definitely an exciting moment for weather enthusiasts in the Kingdom!
