PSA: The Ministry of Interior Warns Against Scammers on Social Media Offering Fake Services

Hey guys, here’s a heads up from the Anti-Economic Crimes Directorate of the General Directorate of Anti-Corruption and Economic and Electronic Security. They want to warn all you awesome citizens and residents about scammers living abroad who are up to some shady business.

These scammers are posting fake ads on social media, offering services like domestic workers or selling water bottles. But here’s the catch: they’ll ask you to pay through sketchy links that are designed to steal your hard-earned cash from your bank accounts.
So, listen up and stay smart! The directorate strongly advises everyone not to fall for these tricks. Don’t ever reveal your personal or bank details over the phone or any other means, okay? Keep your info safe and secure.

If, unfortunately, you’ve already fallen victim to one of these scams, don’t panic! You can report your case and get the necessary help by reaching out to the hotline at 992.

Stay safe!
