HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, held a meeting at Gudaibiya Palace with Qatar’s Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani.
The leaders discussed strengthening the Bahrain-Qatar partnership and exploring new avenues of cooperation. Prince Salman expressed his best wishes for Qatar’s progress and prosperity.
They also reviewed the progress of the Bahrain-Qatar Causeway Project! And directed authorities to finalize plans for its implementation.
The meeting covered regional and international developments, including the situation in Gaza. Both leaders emphasized the need for peace, protection of civilians, and the provision of humanitarian aid in accordance with international laws.
A lunch banquet was held to honor the visit of the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs to Bahrain.
The Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar expressed gratitude for Prince Salman’s support in enhancing Bahrain-Qatar relations.
Several officials, including His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa and HE General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, attended the meeting.
