Sky-High Honor! HM King Hamad Visits the Royal Bahraini Air Force

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Commander of the Armed Forces, paid a visit to the Royal Bahraini Air Force (RBAF). As soon as he arrived, HM the King was warmly welcomed by Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa. They were joined by Lieutenant-General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the National Security Advisor and Royal Guard Commander, as well as Lieutenant-General Theyab bin Saqr Al-Nuaimi, the BDF Chief of Staff, Air Vice-Marshal Shaikh Hamad bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, the RBAF Commander, and other high-ranking RBAF officers.

The RBAF Commander expressed his excitement about HM the King’s visit, thanking him for always supporting the RBAF, a source of pride for everyone. HM’s ongoing interest in the RBAF was also acknowledged, along with the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and the Prime Minister.

Air Vice-Marshal Shaikh Hamad bin Abdulla Al Khalifa briefed HM the King on the latest military tech and systems acquired by the RBAF, highlighting their continuous efforts to enhance capabilities.

The highlight of the day was a fly-by of RBAF aircraft, providing a sky-high welcome for HM King Hamad. HM expressed admiration for the dedicated RBAF personnel. And their round-the-clock readiness, and their skills in protecting the nation and its people alongside their BDF comrades.

Congratulating the RBAF affiliates, HM the King celebrated the acquisition of top-of-the-line “F-16 Block 70” fighter jets. A significant upgrade for the BDF.

Emphasizing the importance of collaboration with friendly nations, HM the King highlighted the goal of safeguarding regional security, global peace, and the uninterrupted flow of energy supplies and trade.

HM the King took photos with RBAF pilots, extending his greetings and appreciation to all RBAF officers, non-commissioned officers, and servicemen, wishing them continued success.
