A Month of Culture and Learning
The 13th edition of the Bahrain Summer Festival has been back for an entire month with a diverse selection of online events and activities inviting you to join the cultural movement this summer – with a click of a button from the safety of your homes! So, here are some activities for your family to enjoy before it ends.
‘Resto Maryam’, a play produced in Lebanon teaches kids about virtues like ambition, determination, honesty, and charity. The play also celebrates humanitarian and ethical values through messages that call for respect and cooperation. It recounts the story of an ambitious man named Jerome who proves himself through his work at a restaurant called Resto Maryam, stirring jealousy in his colleague Majid who enviously decides to harm Jerome. The truth ultimately reveals itself and leads to the conclusion that love and forgiveness cure jealousy and envy. A story worth telling for sure. The entire play is available on the Bahrain Summer Festival’s Youtube channel.
And now for those adults with a penchant for cooking, there are already numerous videos on Summer Festival’s Youtube channel, with previous cooking classes with guest chefs. You can learn to make one pot Italian spaghetti or even some gelato right at home.
The next class on the 30th, which is conducted in collaboration with the French Embassy will teach viewers how to make Choux Pastry. Our mouths are already salivating!

النسخة الثالثة عشرة من مهرجان البحرين الصيفي ابتدت من شهر كامل مع مجموعة متنوعة من الفعاليات والأنشطة على الإنترنت تدعوكم للانضمام إلى الحركة الثقافية هذا الصيف أونلاين من منازلكم!وهنا بعض الأنشطة لعائلتك للاستمتاع قبل ماتخلص.
بالنسبة للكبار الي عندهم ميزة الطبخ ، موجود العديد من الفيديوهات على قناة يوتيوب التابعة للمهرجان الصيفي ، مع دروس الطبخ السابقة مع طهاة ضيوف. أنت يُمْكِنُ أَنْ تَتعلّمَ صِنع أكلة السباغيتي الإيطالي أَو حتى تصنع الآيسكريم الخاص فيك في البيت.
وفي التاريخ ثلاثين من الشهر، يجري تعاون مع السفارة الفرنسية لتعليم المشاهدين كيفية صنع معجنات شوكس الفرنسية.
