Royal Life Saving Bahrain is a local organization that aims to uplift our community into one that can save lives at any moment. They’ve recently come up with #ItOnlyTakes20Seconds – a campaign that highlights the dangers of drowning and the importance of lifesaving training. Their website mentions exactly what to look out for when taking part in water activities, which you can find HERE.
You can also check out their website to apply to be a volunteer – there are some positions that don’t require any knowledge of swimming, so don’t feel left out!
You can also help the cause by donating, or sharing their social media posts to raise awareness.
We think it’s a brilliant idea, especially since we live on this beautiful island!

الحفاظ على وعي وسلامة المجتمع
منظمة البحرين رويال لايف سيفنق هي منظمة محلية تهدف إلى رفع مستوى مجتمعنا إلى منظمة قادرة على إنقاذ الأرواح في أي لحظة. كما توصلوا مؤخراً إلى هاشتاق تحت اسم فقط تحتاج ٢٠ ثانية. وهي حملة تسلط الضوء على مخاطر الغرق وأهمية التدريب على إنقاذ حياة الآخرين. ويذكر في موقعهم أيضاً بما يجب الاهتمام به عند المشاركة في أنشطة المياه، والتي بإمكانك العثور عليها هنا.
كما يمكنك التحقق من موقعهم على الإنترنت لتقديم طلب التطوع، وهنالك أيضاً مناصب أخرى لا تتطلب معرفة السباحة، لذلك ستجد كل ما يناسبك مع هذه المنظمة.
يمكنك أيضاً مساعدة المنظمة عن طريق التبرع، أو حتى مشاركة بوستات وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي الخاص بهم لزيادة الوعي.
